The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)
The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) were adopted at the United Nations Summit in September 2015. The SDGs are a set of goals to be achieved by the 193 countries of the United Nations over the 15-year period from 2016 to 2030. It consists of 17 goals and 169 targets to achieve a sustainable world, and pledges to ‘leave no one behind’
